Our client in the Fertilizer sector is looking for an Agronomist to join their team in Freestate located in Middelburg would be preferableMinimum requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Soil Science or related field
3 years experience as Agronomist
Fluent in Afrikaans and English
Solid SA experience of crops
Must be able to identify issues /possible issues and provide solutions
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
Exceptional active listening and verbal and written communication skills
Strong research, decision making, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
Awareness of industry trends, technology, and developments
Presentation skills are also a major plus
Agriculture experience – non-negotiable
