The role of the supply chain analyst will be to define the company supply chain and provide a full end to end supply chain analysis and recommendations. The supply chain analyst will be responsible for projects, investigations and case studies linking imports/inbound and exports/outbound with the aim of increasing operational efficiencies, reducing costs and improving customer delivery.

The role of the supply chain analyst will be to define the company supply chain and provide a full end to end supply chain analysis and recommendations. The supply chain analyst will be responsible for projects, investigations and case studies linking imports/inbound and exports/outbound with the aim of increasing operational efficiencies, reducing costs and improving customer delivery.

Job Specification

The supply chain analyst will be responsible for the following;

Research, investigate and design tools to adapt to the company strategic initiatives and objectives

Full supply chain cost analysis – propose operationally beneficial and costs effective solutions

Supply chain process mapping and modelling – Improve inefficiencies and systemize

Supporting the continuous improvement of supply chain processes and procedures

Supply chain projects to improve customer delivery and shortened lead times

Monitor supply chain KPI’s and update indicators

Report writing and case studies

Job Requirements

BCom or BSc Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Logistics or Supply Chain

Knowledge of business processes and supply chain knowledge

Advanced Microsoft office skills

Strong critical, analytical and problem solving skills

Good verbal and written communication skills

Organizational abilities
