Product Owner – Energy Portfolio Management & Trading Platform
About the platform
COMCAM is developing an Energy Portfolio Management & Trading Platform. This platform is the digital core of the organization. It gives clients real-time insight into energy consumption, contracts, tariffs, and invoices. It brings together operational data, contract information, and market insights in one environment. The platform forms the foundation for COMCAM’s growth and digital development in the Dutch business energy market.

COMCAM operates from a unique, independent position in the Dutch energy market; no other company offers an equivalent service model. Unlike traditional energy suppliers that sell their own energy, COMCAM does not. The company acts solely in its clients’ interests and manages the entire energy portfolio, a service referred to as Energy Portfolio Management. It consolidates multiple contracts and energy sources into a single, actively managed portfolio, delivering cost efficiency, long-term stability, and security of supply. COMCAM bridges the gap between energy producers, grid operators, regulators, and business consumers.
The role

It combines multiple contracts and energy sources into one actively managed portfolio. This creates cost efficiency, long term stability and supply security. COMCAM bridges the gap between energy producers, grid operators, regulators and business consumers.
Key responsibilities
- Define and manage the product vision and roadmap
- Translate business needs into user stories and requirements
- Coordinate planning and delivery with the external development team
- Prioritise backlog items based on customer value and business goals
- Ensure integration between the field control boxes and the platform
Profile
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, Business Administration or Energy-related subject
- Minimum of three years of experience as Product Owner in platform development
- Solid knowledge of the Dutch energy market and energy contracts
- Experience with agile work methods and external development teams
- Strong communication skills and analytical mindset
Work location and collaboration
This is a hybrid position. Work partly remote and partly from the offices in Middelburg and Rotterdam. The external development team works in Doetinchem. Cooperation is mainly remote with occasional on-site meetings.
